“ Stop two at the Meandering Bear. A great micro bar with superb beer options. It turned out a friend from Uni days does a Sunday shift so we returned later. Had a lovely pint of Norwegian Blue by Parkway Brewing; all the way from Somerset on first visit. On the second visit we met Chris after a 40 year gap. He has remained a real ale fan as well and contributes to a local beer magazine. A new beer from Durham had come on. Again excellent. Well worth the visit. ”
